English Estates: Barling Guinea Grain Bent Dublin (4805) (Post-Transition) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-37974

Founded in 1812 by silversmith Benjamin Barling, B. Barling and Sons originally supplied pipe smokers with fine metallic fitments before producing its own briar pipes starting in 1906. It didn't take long for Barling's reputation to grow among the pipe community, many knowing them for their quality craftsmanship, with fine attention to detail and incredible smoking experiences. This "4805" bent Dublin from Barling is a lightweight and more compact version of some taller Dublin options. While the bowl is the traditional Bell-shape of a Dublin, it's more squat in nature, containing a scaled-down tobacco chamber, perfect for short and satisfying smoking sessions. From a wide transition, the oval shank-and-stem combination sweeps into a slight bend at the bit, the black vulcanite of the mouthpiece positively contrasting the lighter stain up front.
