Though it was made in England, this Pot by an unknown carver carries an almost Italian neoclassical disposition with its prominently featured bowl. Said bowl Possesses a stocky, robust figure, formed by muscular walls traveling straight from the broad, flattened base toward the softly beveled rim. Out back, a slender shank emerges and meets a sleek saddle stem, both of which emphasize the bowl's visual weight. A warm, smooth finish dresses the stummel, accentuating the briar's natural grain.
