BBB stands for "Britain's Best Briars" today, though when it was founded in 1860 it was as "Bloomfield's Best Briars." A storied English marque with over a century of history behind them, BBB presents us with this lightweight "71B" Dublin: a pipe that features a proudly poised and softly flaring bowl up front, complete with a good bit of forward cant. The chamber has a respectable capaciousness to it and the warm, rich stain has coaxed out some handsome, understated grain, the black vulcanite stem to which this pipe is paired keeping the palette timeless.
