English Estates: Pioneer Meerschaum Rusticated Prince Tobacco Pipe

Pioneer Pipe Company was owned by Wally Frank and fashioned pipes from Turkish and African block meerschaum, with one such piece presented here. While we usually see meerschaum pipes in a smooth finish and in their natural white or creamy colors, this Prince comes to us finished in a craggy rustication and dressed in an extra-dark stain. The flaring mount and vulcanite stem continue the dark color palette, resulting in a distinctive meer that will attract attention in any collection.
