A respected name of their time, Wally Frank opened up shop in the early 1930s in New York City. Although they were very popular in America, Wally Frank outsourced makers from many well-known international marques including Charatan, Sasieni, and Weber. Crisp and lightweight, this Billiard from Wally Frank is a paneled take on the timeless shape. A reliable Sitter, the bowl stands firmly upon its flat heel, the figure framed by eight crisp facets, each of which is joined together by rounded edges. The shank and stem are rectangularly paneled, and the stem's sleek taper of black vulcanite conceals a stinger. Dressed in a mahogany stain, the stummel showcases lovely birdseye along its left flank.
