English Estates: Barling's Make Ye Olde Wood Smooth Lumberman (302) (LF) (Pre-Transition) (Aftermarket Band) (Replacement Stem) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-38321

Founded in 1812 by silversmith Benjamin Barling, B. Barling and Sons originally supplied pipe smokers with fine metallic fitments before producing its own briar pipes starting in 1906. It didn't take long for Barling's reputation to grow among the pipe community, many knowing them for their quality craftsmanship, with fine attention to detail and incredible smoking experiences. This Lumberman from Barling pays homage to the shape-chart standard, with its pert, cylindrical bowl paired to a lithe shank-and-stem arrangement, the former taking up the majority of the aft's visual weight. The stummel and vulcanite saddle stem are connected at the junction by a thick metallic accent band, adding a pop of shine to the otherwise dark color palette. Dressed in a smooth Ye Olde Wood finish, the stummel is the perfect match for the inky black vulcanite out back.

Note: the metallic accent located at the junction is an aftermarket cosmetic band and did not originally come with the pipe.
