English Estates: Comoy's Extraordinaire Sandblasted Bent Billiard (805) (1920s-1930s) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-002-38324
From stem to rim, this bent Billiard from Comoy's exhibits powerful, muscular curves. Housed within the bowl's dense, towering walls is a cavernous chamber, a feature that makes this offering the perfect companion for long, languorous smoking sessions. The heel of the bowl has a swift curve to it, giving the pipe a handsome profile. The thick transition of the piece also becomes more prominent in profile view, as does the exceedingly muscular shank rushing out from said transition at a steep incline. Even the saddle stem has muscular curves of its own, with its ample shoulders and wide mouthpiece.
Despite its hearty build, this piece's prominently bent stem promotes a comfortable jaw hanging posture. In hand, the substantially-sized bowl has a satisfying, palm-filling presence, and the sandblast offers a stimulating tactile experience.
