English Estates: Barling's Guinea Grain Billiard (G268) (EL) (Regd) (1936-1949) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-38397

Founded in 1812 by silversmith Benjamin Barling, B. Barling and Sons originally supplied pipe smokers with fine metallic fitments before producing its own briar pipes starting in 1906. It didn't take long for Barling's reputation to grow among the pipe community, many knowing them for their quality craftsmanship, with fine attention to detail and incredible smoking experiences. The stuff collectors' dreams are made of, this pre-Transition Barling boasts a tall, almost Danish-style Billiard bowl that houses a chamber of considerable depth, and a fairly narrow width. Licks of flame ride all flanks, leading the eye to the softened oval shank and elongated saddle stem.
