English Estates: Digby Conquest Sandblatsed Acorn (9611) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-38726

GBD, its name deriving from those of its three founders Ganneval, Bondier, and Donninger, originally began life in Paris in 1850. In later years, the company would be sold to A. Oppenheimer & Co. in London in 1902, where it would become an English marque. Crafted for Digby, a GBD seconds brand, this Acorn is a sophisticated interpretation of the classic form, complete with a tall, flared bowl, an angular heel, and a sleek, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. Dressed in a dark sandblast, the stummel here offers a wealth of visual and tactile detail.
