Stamped "LBS," this Group 4 piece is a more slender iteration of Dunhill's Large Billiards, though it still retains a robust physique. Introduced after the end of World War I, Dunhill's "LB" pipes are characterized by their more strapping proportions and subtly Apple-like bowls, as seen in this example from 1962. The bowl stands tall and upright, with supple walls reaching from heel to rim with an easy curve. A muscular, balanced shank transitions from the bowl and pairs to a gradually tapering stem, the latter of which lends this piece a sleek, streamlined profile.
