French Estates: David Enrique Gamme De Smooth Prince with Boxwood

Product Number: 004-003-3975

While there are many factory marques still in operation in France, not much is known about the myriad independent artisans working in and around the birthplace of the briar pipe. David Enrique is one of those, being a neat, fairly handy straight Apple rendition, and sporting a Prince-like disposition in profile, minus the characteristically languid sense of bend. There's some lovely grain on display, and condition is pretty good, with only some minor rim charring, rim darkening, and mild chamber carbonizing.
