French Estates: Ropp Smooth Brown (248)

Product Number: 004-003-4386

In a world where the Poker shape practically necessitates one large block of briar, vintage Ropps somehow manage to pack in all that firm, forward confidence into a smaller, classically French proportioned pipe. This particular number came from a batch of stummels found in the old Chapuis-Comoy factory. After decades of lying undisturbed, here it is, the "238" Poker presented in the marque's Smooth Brown contrast stain. One handsome number indeed and just some handling marks and minor rim darkening to note condition-wise.
