French Estates: Butz-Choquin Guermantes Smooth Billiard (1410)
Product Number: 004-003-4442
This tall Billiard from Butz-Choquin displays a firm, upright bowl, which is almost Stack-like when viewed in profile, and wears a set of beadlines just below its rim. Its black saddle stem also has a unique look to it with lines reminiscent of the bowl's beadlines. A great fusion of traditional shaping cues with modern aesthetics. Condition wise there is some darkening and scratches on the rim, the chamber was over reamed and has some mild carbonizing, and there is light oxidation on the mouthpiece.- Jeffery Sitts
