French Estates: Chacom Smooth Billiard (US Champ) (Chicago 2011)
Product Number: 004-003-4602
This straight Billiard from Chacom was actually used as the designated pipe for the 2011 Chicago slow-smoking competition and judging from the stamping, it appears to possibly have been the pipe given to the U.S. champion that year. It's a pretty muscular take on the classic shape, with plenty of substance all around. This particular example also happens to display a nice mix of birdseye and cross grain, brought out through a light chestnut stain.- Andrew Wike
