French Estates: Butz-Choquin Hera (1789) (9mm) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-003-4811
Compact, seamless, and softly rounded, Butz-Choquin's "1789" bent Apple design unsurprisingly proves to be a very enjoyable little number in hand — the bowl smooth and shapely with the slightly elongated transition allowing plenty of room for a natural grip. Its soft contours and plump bowl make it hard to put down, especially here as part of the marque's Hera line, named for the legendary Greek goddess. A handsome walnut stain covers the stummel and is tastefully paired to two gold-hued metal rings and an elegantly downturned acrylic mouthpiece. Unsmoked, though there are some scratches around the bowl.- Jeffery Sitts
