French Estates: David Enrique Gamme De Sandblasted Billiard

Product Number: 004-003-4902

David Enrique bought his first pipe in 2004, when he was 24 years old. Born in Strasbourg, France, he took an extended stay in Saint-Claude to visit pipe manufacturers, and quickly decided to move there and become a pipe maker. He worked at the Chacom factory until 2007, when he opened his own workshop, from which this wonderful Billiard emerges. With a slightly more robust shank than typically expected of the French school, this rendition hews closely to the shape chart standard, which any pipe maker will tell you is not as easy as it looks for Billiards. David makes it appear effortless with this precisely shaped bowl, easy transition, and tapering cumberland mouthpiece, the piece unified by a chestnut sandblast that illuminates wonderful grain throughout.
