French Estates: Jeantet Reputation Smooth Billiard (13) (Jubilee 1816-1951)
Product Number: 004-003-23069
The Jeantet company began by turning wooden shanks for porcelain pipes in 1807, shifting to briar pipe making in 1858. Today, it's a sub-brand of Chacom. Featuring plenty of attractive flame grain, this classic Billiard has all the markings of a great workhorse pipe. In traditional French style, the bowl takes visual precedence, the shank is low and demure by comparison, and the vulcanite mouthpiece trails away in a soft taper to the button.- Chuck Stanion
