French Estates: Butz-Choquin Millesime Sandblasted Bent Dublin (626) (D) (1988) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-003-5491
Rather rakish in profile, this "626" bent Dublin from Butz-Choquin offers plenty of chamber depth in its tall, forward-canting bowl, which flares into a softly inflated rim. A firm heel leads to a gracefully upticking shank and gently downturned cumberland stem that should result in a comfortable smoking posture. Millésime translates to "vintage" in English, which is a fine moniker, especially since the company was originally founded in 1875. It's seen here in a dark sandblast that's accentuated by trim rings both at the shank end and stem base. Unsmoked.-Angela Robertson
