For their 2013 Noel series, Genod chose the classic Diplomat as the line's singular shape pairing a chubby, forward-urging bowl to a flattened oval shank and gently downturned stem. The aforementioned bowl is remarkably plump, wearing its waistline low and conforming comfortably around wrapped fingers while also offering a good bit of chamber as well. There's plenty of flame grain to admire around the bowl while a hardwood accent band wraps around the saddle stem's base.
