French Estates: Chacom Grand Match Smooth (121) Tobacco Pipe

A rather Diplomat-esque take on the bent Apple, Chacom's "121" pairs a chubby, forward-urging bowl to a flattened oval shank and gently downturned stem. Unlike the Diplomat, though, the "121" is much more svelte, streamlined offering, rendered in relatively compact proportions. The rotund bowl is a delight in hand and the low-set transition provides for a comfortable thumb rest, dressed here in the earthy Grand Match finish.
