French Estates: G.V.G. Smooth Dublin with Horn Stem Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-003-6174

The history of Genod dates back to the 19th century and its relation to the Comoy factory, but one of the brand's most successful eras came in the mid-1900s under the supervision of Jacques Craen, the grandson of founder Georges Vincent Genod. The "G.V.G." stamp from Genod is a special one, representing the founder's initials. Pipes stamped such, like this Dublin, were fashioned from vintage stummels discovered at the Genod factory, likely from the turn of the century or before and then completed in the 1960s. Fitted to a horn stem, the aft of this piece take on a consistent taper to the button, while a warm stain both matches the stem and reveals a wealth of handsome grain.
