This piece from St. Claude Export is a classic take on the venerated Lovat shape, with a plump bowl sat at the end of its extended length of shank, said bowl possessed of a sturdy stoutness which belies the overall light weight of this piece. Its lengthy shank is topped with a trim saddle stem, the iconic look of the shape, and the entire stummel has been treated with a crisp sandblast whose darker hues are complimented by the stem's jet-black vulcanite.
