French Estates: Pierre Morel Smooth Billiard (Twin Bore) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-003-7537
In 1978, Pierre Morel was commissioned as an independent pipe maker to make a line of completely handmade pipes. He now works in his own shop, producing pieces that align rather closely to Anglo-French shape charts most of the time. This Billiard is no exception, placing a hearty, supple bowl atop a rounded heel at the fore of a slim round shank and tapered cumberland stem. Said stem is rendered with a distinctive twin bore opening, creating two holes from which to draw smoke. Dressed in a rich, earthy stain, the stummel displays fine grain all around the bowl.
