This "1300" bent Billiard from Jean Waille marries a satisfying jaw-hanging stature with a pleasing in-hand feel thanks to the vaulted shank-and-stem combination and muscular bowl. The eyes are drawn to the fore where the thick walls of the tall bowl rise from a full-bodied heel to a flat rim. Out back, a sturdy shank slants toward a tapered stem of-black vulcanite, one that pairs perfectly with the natural stain seen covering the stummel: bringing out the briar's rich, healthy grain.
