This paneled Apple from Ropp is a Prince-like take on the classic shape, featuring a squat, plump bowl at the fore of the composition. The bowl is framed by six crisp facets, with each of the ridgelines emerging seamlessly from the heel as they curved toward the flat rim. Out back is an arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement, with the shank possessing a gradual taper to the bit. A rich chestnut stain dresses the stummel and reveals pepperings of birdseye across the right flank.
