French Estates: Butz-Choquin Supermate Geante Smooth Billiard (1603) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-003-7934

Butz-Choquin is a French marque who are highly regarded for their faithful interpretations of classic shape chart standards, striking finishes, and their occasional fanciful Freehands. This "1603" Billiard comes from the Geante line, designating pipes from the brand that are larger than their standard fare. The transition here is wide, and it gives way to a sleek shank met by a tapering, black vulcanite stem, this fairly slender combination placing further emphasis on the presence of the bowl. Said bowl stands on a rounded heel and cants forward dynamically, its walls curving gently as they take on a subtle taper to the rim: offering plenty of space to showcase the stummel's warm, smooth finish.
