French Estates: Genod Sandblasted Mounted Rhodesian (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-003-7981
Genod pipes are fashioned in historic Saint-Claude, France, representing classic French style and craftsmanship at its finest. The workshop was established in 1970 by factory owner Jacques Craen in honor of the former proprietor George Vincent-Genod, and today, all Genod pipes are crafted by French pipe maker Sebastien Beaud. A pipe maker since the early 2000s, Beaud curates traditional French pipe design through Genod's range of classic shapes and finishes, offering timeless pipes from petite French standards to extra-large pieces. This particular Rhodesian is presented in a sandblasted finish and earthy stain, and it's fitted to a jet-black vulcanite stem for traditional appeal. Moreover, it's elevated by a metal mount along the shank end: Combined with the stem's tapered base, it lends the appearance of a military mount but houses a standard mortise-and-tenon arrangement.
