French Estates: Butz-Choquin Nice (1789) (9mm) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-003-8102
The French marque Butz-Choquin was founded in the 1850s in Metz, France. In 1951, the brand moved to St. Claude, France, the Mecca of French pipe making, where their pipes gained even greater popularity. A minimalist bent Apple shape, presented in modern French style, this Butz-Choquin "1789" certainly boasts a lot of charm in profile. The finish, then, is most fitting — being the dimpled rustication and walnut stain of the Nice line, a series inspired by the quaint city in the south of France. This particular Apple is also drilled to accept 9mm filters.
