This Dublin by Vuillard is equal parts muscular and compact, with an abbreviated overall length that belies the girth of the stummel. Up front, a stout bowl stands atop a firm heel and grows thick walls that flare to a broad, flat rim. A wide transition follows the bowl and marks the start of a sturdy shank-and-stem arrangement that provides balance to the overall form. Dressing this ensemble is a rich auburn smooth finish that highlights healthy grain throughout the stummel.
