Reiner Thilo can create a bit of confusion. This is understandable, as what began as a single artisan (that is, Reiner Thilo himself) later became the marque of an artisanal workshop. Given both the shape we're presented with here, and the fact that it's reWhile there are a few prominent Italian, American, and English artisans working freely in alternative materials such as morta, pipes like this appear to still be quite the rarity, when it comes to Germany. Indeed, out to of the whole seven German estates we've ever had that were made from morta, Reiner's work constitutes four of them, with the other three having come from only two other artisans.
