German Estates: Joura Smooth Bent Ball (Infinity A) (c. 2003)
Product Number: 004-005-4762
Karlheinz Joura's style often plays with geometry, and this bent Ball is a beautiful example. Smooth and utterly round of bowl, with a crisp transition, it's paired against a paneled shank, the latter throwing more emphasis on the supple shaping up front. It's all finished in a light contrast that makes the briar's grain pop delightfully for a beautiful display. Best of all, this piece is still in very good condition all around.
