German Estates: Jurgen Moritz Smooth Freehand (Unsmoked)

This Freehand from Jurgen Moritz possesses a rim reminiscent of the Mushroom, its dome drifting forward in asymmetry. That rim is generously beveled around the tobacco chamber, the beveling matching the oval shaping of the bowl. The grain here is particularly noteworthy, very tight and well-defined, with birdseye at the rim and at the paneled underside of the shank and heel. It presents a svelte and slender form, the base of the stem offering the slightest of interruptions to the flow with a single expansion ring before tapering softly to the lip button. It's offered here in unsmoked condition.
