German Estates: Reiner Art Design Smooth Horn (S) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-005-6658

After smoking a pipe for several years, Reiner Klein decided to give making a pipe a try. After becoming increasingly obsessed with the craft, he began learning the subtleties of pipe making under legendary German artisan Karlheinz Joura. Soon, Klein made pipe-making a career, carving his creations under the name Reiner Art Design.

This Horn by Reiner Art Design possesses a trapezoidal geometry that extends seamlessly from the broad rim to the trim shank face. The four faceted walls of the shank showcase a gorgeous array of grain as they smoothly taper and curve along the stummel, with the flanks displaying sweeping straight grain and the top and underside featuring a breathtaking pattern of birdseye. The remarkable grain is dressed in a bright, orange smooth finish, which is complemented by the dark hues of the cumberland stem base and the swirled acrylic stem.
