This Nosewarmer is fairly unusual for Peter Klein, who tends to follow the Danish approach to shaping, offering pipes with soft, elegant lines and supple curves. This piece, however, is far brawnier and more compact than his other compositions, evoking the look of snug North American designs. Proportionally well balanced, this piece offers a comfortable in-hand presence, one made all the more engaging thanks to the crisp rustication dressing the stummel.
