German Estates: Vauen Six (109) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-005-6828
Germany's largest and oldest pipe making marque, Vauen's history dates back to 1848 and comprises decades of innovations such as the 9mm pipe filter, something the majority of their pipes still utilize today. Vauen's Six series, however, is a unique development within their catalog: Instead of accommodating 9mm filters, like most of Vauen's other pipes, those within the Six series are specifically designed to accept 6mm filters. The use of these more slender filters enables the German marque to craft pipes with more streamlined shank-and-stem combinations, lending them a gracile persona and light weight. These pipes come dressed in either a black sandblast; light, auburn stain; dark, smoky stain; or a matte, auburn stain, with this "09" bent Apple wearing the dark, smoky finish.
