Irish Estates: Peterson 'July 4 2003' Smooth (01) with Silver (Fishtail)
Product Number: 004-004-9127
The Pot is an inherently muscular shape, the bowl prioritizing breadth over height and often displaying a thick-walled substance in hand. When rendered from Peterson, though, the shape exhibits even more muscularity. The Irish marque's aesthetic is conventionally characterized as stout and hearty, and it's exemplified in Peterson's "01" bent Pot — the shank and transition echoing the robustness of the bowl, while remaining well balanced thanks to the stem's quarter bend. This pipe represents the firm's July 4 special edition in 2003 and is dressed in a warm, traditional stain, with one of Peterson's celebrated, bright silver bands completing the presentation.-Angela Robertson
