Irish Estates: Irish Seconds Smooth Bent Pot (by Peterson) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-004-10205
An Irish Seconds pipe fashioned by Peterson, this bent Pot corresponds to the Irish marque's "01" design, but paired to a saddle stem compared to the tapered variety typically seen on the "01." The Pot is an inherently muscular shape, the bowl prioritizing breadth over height and often displaying a thick-walled substance in hand. When rendered from Peterson, though, the shape exhibits even more muscularity. The Irish marque's aesthetic is conventionally characterized as stout and hearty, and it's exemplified in Peterson's "01" bent Pot — the shank and transition echoing the robustness of the bowl, while remaining well balanced thanks to the stem's quarter bend.
