Irish Estates: Peterson Irish Harp (X105) (Fishtail) (2023) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-004-14426
The "106," "107," and "X105" are all robust variations of the straight Billiard from Peterson. While each one showcases the Irish marque's conventional robustness at the shank and transition, this "X105" trims down that aesthetic just a tad by comparison, presenting a more traditionally English style. That said, it still offers more substance than, say, the "06" or "15" iterations. Such a diverse portfolio of classic shapes allows Peterson to cater to all preferences of length, chamber depth, and weight — with the "X105" finding a perfect balance between extremes.
Marked by a smooth, walnut stain, and acrylic stem to match, the Irish Harp line from Peterson poses an elegant aesthetic, the bowl and mouthpiece separated by a generous band of sterling silver. Peterson's craftsmen spend years training under the factory's senior smiths, and the Irish marque is esteemed for its use of sterling silver. In the Irish Harp series, Peterson pays tribute to one of Ireland's most iconic symbols: the Celtic harp or cláirseach in Irish. The traditional instrument is here emblazoned on the silver accent, celebrating Peterson's Irish origins while simultaneously showcasing their superlative silverwork.
