Italian Estates: Tom Spanu Smooth Bent Dublin with Bamboo (F) (3) (2005)

Product Number: 004-006-8348

Though very much an Italian pipemaker in style, Tom Spanu actually hails from the isle of Sardania, which has it's own still-extant Romance language and a wealth of ancient history, as evidenced by the thousands of pre-Roman nuraghe (stone towers) still dotting its landscape. He learned his craft in northern Italy, and the freehand elements and strong, proud gesture of this bent Dublin's bowl display a good deal of common ground with the Pesaro school - not to mention a whole lot of flame grain.
