Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Rhodesian with Silver Band (G)

Product Number: 004-006-8964

Under the guiding hands of Ser Jacopo throughout the years, the Rhodesian has turned contortionist, twisting and bending to the whims of the Pesaro school. Here, the trademark bowl of the beloved shape has been elongated and reclined, now taking on the forward cant of the Belge or Horn pipe. Ergo, the bowl is now a tunnel, burrowing substantially deep, which may prevent any loose ash from dropping out, as common with shapes whose bowls fall at this angle. Stepping back from its practicality, the pipe's extreme shaping just comes out beautifully--at once, wholly original, but with an air of traditionalism-- both of which the Persaro school allows, but does not dictate.
