Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Cymatium Rusticated Bent Apple (R1)

Product Number: 004-006-9377

The mount of this bent Apple bears absolutely no resemblance to a predatory sea snail, so I can safely conclude that what Ser Jacopo was alluding to was the molding appearing at the top of the cornice in the classical order, a characteristic of Ionic columns. The briar shank piece does look faintly like this architectural form, in the way the shank face rolls up.
