Italian Estates: Caminetto New Dear Bent Billiard (1970s)

Product Number: 004-006-9809

The Ascorti New Dear carved rustication bears some similarity with other "melting wax" finishes I've come across: the Radice Underwood, the Ser Jacopo Rowlette, although this variation of the New Dear rustication is uncharacteristically understated. Along with the languorously soft, bent gesture of the slender shank and saddle-step stem, this Ascorti, presents a quite artful disguise, which conceals a generous chamber.
