While I think this Don Carlos deserves more than One Note, the Fiammata, certainly, is right. As lyrical of line and stance as Bruto's work gets, this is a lovely shape, put simply, and the grain is equal parts fine-patterned and copious. It's also quite a large briar, I might add, yet the smooth roundness below and good bit of taper above makes it all soft and easy in hand.
