Presented here is Savinelli's "401", a smart, classic straight Dublin that's been lent an added touch of character via a subtly forward-canted bowl. It's wearing the warm walnut stain of the De Luxe Milano line, making for a fine way to accentuate some charming grain. The only points off this one's condition come from the stem being a touch over-buffed, a little rim darkening, and a few dings on the rim as well, but for a briar well under $100, this a nice find.
