Italian Estates: Don Carlos Rusticated Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe

Plenty of neat curves to this Don Carlos, which isn't unusual for Bruto Sordini's work, and up front, at the end of a good bit of lift from the transition, a bowl that's pushing at the borders of Author or Tomato in its breadth, relative to its height. That said the chamber is modest, as is the pipe's overall size; the proportions of the shape are rather close to English to my eye, even if the lines are distinctly Don Carlos.
