Italian Estates: Bertram Safferling Smooth Egg with Horn (1)

Product Number: 004-006-16884

Bertram Safferling is a very talented German artisan with a pretty respectable following. Now, if you're browsing Italian estate pipes and happened upon this piece, you might be wondering... why is this Safferling not in the German category? Well, simply put, in 2005 Bertram moved to Italy and has been making pipes there ever since. This particular high-rimmed, paneled-shanked Egg sitter shape was fashioned there in his Tramin workshop as well — though still with all the same dead-on drilling, high-quality finish, and beautiful smooth shaping you'd expect from any Bertram briar. Great condition!
