Italian Estates: Bertram Safferling Smooth Egg (3)

Product Number: 004-006-19974

A German artisan who moved to Italy, Bertram Safferling is a talented man who tends to make some elegant pieces. Here, a plump, well-tapered Egg bowl is paired to a straight and crisp-lined diamond shank, a combination of styles that works surprisingly well, and feels excellent in hand. A little stain has come off of the rim, and it's picked up some very light scratches, but condition is otherwise very good all around.
