A warm, smoldering contrast stain is juxtaposed by a dark rusticated texture in this Castello Aristocratica, making for something of a reversal in dynamic from the previous pieces we've seen from this series. What I mean by that is the unifying feature of those we've seen has been the presence of fumed, pre-darkened rims, as opposed to this fellow's lighter, flame-grained treatment. Unsmoked.
