This bent Apple bears the Venere dress well. From the uniform rustication to the smooth rim, it's all tinged in earthy colors dedicated to Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Venere, Italian for Venus, specifically pays tribute to the Florentine Renaissance artist Botticelli, whose work The Birth of Venus eventually became one of the most respected early works coming out of the Florentine school.
