Italian Estates: Castello Collection Bent Dublin (KK) (1970s-1982)
Product Number: 004-006-25049
A vintage Castello from before 1982, this bent Dublin is on the smaller end of the Italian workshop's shaping spectrum, especially within the context of their other bent Dublins. It's not quite a pocket pipe, but the trim shank and stem and more conservative flare toward the rim reduce the overall weight, making this a convenient and comfortable clencher. Topped with plateau, the bowl showcases a lovely flame grain pattern, and the shank end features an accent of darker stained briar, lined with acrylic to ensure the push-style tenon can still be removed while the pipe is hot.-Truett Smith
